core principles

1

Privacy by Default

Metadata must never be exposed. ISONET eliminates leakage at the network, routing, and cryptographic layers using mixnets, timing obfuscation, uniform packet sizing, and ZK authentication.

2

Decentralization

No single entity controls the network. Thousands of independent nodes maintain global liveness, routing, and anonymity.

3

Security & Unlinkability

Every hop breaks correlation. No node ever sees both sender and receiver. Nodes use onion decryption, Poisson delays, and cover traffic to prevent analysis.

4

Modularity & Integration

ISONET provides a full developer platform:

  • mixnet routing SDK

  • ZK identity and login

  • privacy-protected API calls

  • enterprise firewall integration

5

Incentive Alignment

Node operators, developers, enterprises, and users all share aligned incentives via ISO-token staking, rewards, and slashing mechanisms.

These principles guide all technical and economic decisions in the ISONET protocol design.
